"Anthony," someone whispered, touching him.

The familiar voice sent goosebumps down his spine and he shivered in disgust, turning around to look at her.

He looked up at her, his eyes two chips of ice.

"How did you manage to get close to me? You do run pretty fast, Clara. I wonder why you suddenly want to talk to a smelly and despicable trash. If it's because you think I have money now, better forget it. I don't have any money at all. I'm not Mr Money. As you can see, I'm riding a bike, so forget it," Anthony said, standing up to climb his bike.

"It's not like that, I just wanted to apologize to you. I still miss you sometimes, making me realize how stupid I was. I'm sorry. I'm genuinely sorry, not because of the money, but because I'm feeling remorseful. I'm not a gold digger. Remember that I was your only friend back then when you were working part time jobs. I'm really sorry," she pleaded.

Anthony gave her a fake smile and climbed his bike, turning on the engine.
