Chapter 4 : Emergence of the immortal palace ( 2 )

 "Mom , Dad , you should be very careful today because the world is about to change ". Daron warned as he calmly drink his tea . 

  They were currently eating breakfast and his parents were already rushing through their meals in order to get to work early. 

  Daron took an excuse from school, claiming that he was sick so the school granted him few days off. He was currently aware that after today , school will become very useless as many people will embark on the journey to become stronger. 

  "Son , how is the world going to change ? ". The Dad asked with a chuckle obviously not taking the words of his son to heart. 

  "And who is going to change the world ?". His mother smiled and asked . 

  Daron was completely speechless as he looked at the teasing expression of his parents. 

  They did not believe his words at all. 

  Well , he did not blame them because he would have found it ridiculous if someone suddenly says that the world is about to change. 

  "I know what am going to say might sound meaningless or even ridiculous but believe me , it's the absolute truth. The spiritual energy will revive today and the world will usher in a drastic change !!". Daron took a deep breath and said solemnly. 

 There was a momentary pause as the mother and the father looked at each other with a dumbstruck expression. 

 "Spiritual energy ?". The father rolled his eyes comically. 

 "Like the revival of spiritual energy in the fantasy novels ?". The father could not hide the amusement on his face. 

 He wondered whether his son had drank alcohol last night because why was he speaking nonsense so early in the morning. 

 "That's so funny ". The mother covered her mouth as she laughed loudly. 

 The solemn expression on the face of Daron as he spoke rubbish was really funny to her. 

 "Son , you better get some rest before your sick leave expires ". The father got up and pattted his clothes slightly. 

 The father was the manger of a branch in one of the leading construction company in the world and there was an ongoing project at the moment so his presence was urgently needed. 

 After kissing the wife , the father hurriedly entered the car that was already waiting for him and his driver immediately drove the car away. 

 "Do not run around ". The mother warned him sternly before she also drove off. 

 She was currently working in one of the major banks in the country. 

 "I knew they wouldn't believe me ". Daron raised his hand helplessly and said. 

 If not for the fact that he came from the future , he wouldn't even believe what he was saying because it was simply incomprehensible. 

 "Well , it's still safe until a week or two ". Daron shrugged his shoulders as he went back to his food. 

 After eating , Daron washed up and then bought the ticket to visit Mount Vernon online . 

 He checked the time as he quickly prepared for the trip . 

 Mount Vernon was located at the outskirts of the capital and it would take him approximately an hour plus to get there. 

 "Seems like I'm ready ". Daron looked at the long backpack that he hid his sword and bronze mask inside and sighed softly. 

 This trip will determine alot of things for him and he hoped that he will be successful. 

 Dragging the backpack , Daron rushed out of the house into the taxi that was already waiting for him. 

 "Mount Vernon ". I said slowly as he leaned back on the seat.

 The street of Detroit , the capital of the central state was always busy as many people rushed to their various jobs because it was Monday , the beginning of the week. 

 The world was currently divided into four countries namely; the central state , Mazonia , Iceland and southern united states. 

 The central state was the strongest in terms of Economy and military prowess with the country of Mazonia being the weakest. 

 Iceland was located in the north , Southern united states in the south , Central state in the East and Mazonia in the west. 

 The taxi was exceptionally fast as it took less than an hour to leave the capital and approach the location of Mount Vernon. 

 Mount Vernon was the tallest mountain in the central state and many people from different countries use to come there for sightseeing. 

 As a result of this , the surrounding environment was quickly developed into an entertainment park where people sit and relax themselves. 

 Only few people that come to see the huge mountain had the intention of climbing it. 

 After several minutes , the taxi stopped at the checkpoint and they identified themselves before they were allowed entry . 

 When they reached the location , Daron paid the driver off and carried is bag inside. 

 The park at the foot of the mountain was bustling with many people even though it was still at the early hours of morning. 

 "Mount Vernon !". Daron took a deep breath as he looked at the mountain that later became the residing place of the supreme sect. 

 The mountain was transformed by the revival of spiritual energy and many spiritual veins formed underneath the mountain. 

 "This time around , this opportunity will not slip through my hand ". Daron checked his watch and knew that it was still few hours before the emergence of the immortal palace. 

 Taking a deep breath , Daron carried his bag and went to sit down on of the chairs. 

 He ordered for a drink and drank it slowly. 

 "Mind if we sit with you ". A crispy voice that was accompanied by a sweet scent that smelled like fresh orchid wafled into the nostrils of Daron who looked towards the owner of the voice. 

 A young girl , about eighteen years old with a ponytail hair style and was dressed in long sleeves and skirt was standing there. 

 The girl was looking beautiful with two deep dimples on her face and her black hair Cascaded down on shoulders like a waterfall. 

 "Sure ". Daron nodded slightly as he looked away. 

 "Thank you ". The girl smiled and sat down before bringing out a book from her bag and she started reading it. 

 Two hours quickly went by before the girl turned around and asked. 

 "My name is Nicole and you are ?". She asked. 

 Daron seemed not to hear the words of the girl as he looked at the distance solemnly. 

 "It's time !". 

 Boooom!! the entire mountain suddenly shook Intensely.
