Chapter Ninety four

“Do you think he might be telling the truth?” Elena and Jonathan were at a coffee shop. They were sitting a corner in order not to draw attention to themselves.

“I doubt that. I had him followed yesterday, he didn’t go anywhere or meet with anyone suspicious.” Jonathan carefully explained to her.

“Which makes him more suspicious? Why don’t you uses your means to get the answer out of him?”

Jonathan shook his head with a smile on his face. “Unless he truly has a hand in it, there is no way I can lay hands on him again. He is still a Fernandez after all.”

“So what do we do?”

“We just wait, according to the guards, Rhys personally dismissed them which means he had a plan or had to achieve something but he rather not inform us. He would be fine. You don’t have to be worried.” Jonathan reassured her before standing up to leave. “I would keep you updated on any new information I get, you have to go home and get some sleep. You really look like you could use one.”
