But there was no response.

Rhys’s heart sank. He had thought for a moment that he had found a way to communicate with Rio. But now, he was left with nothing.

He slumped against the wall, feeling defeated. He didn’t know what to do or where to turn. He was trapped in a strange place, cut off from his friend and his only means of communication. As the darkness closed in around him, Rhys realized that he had to keep trying. He couldn’t give up. He had to find a way to enter the inter-dimensional space, to reach Rio.

With newfound determination, Rhys stood up and tried to enter the space once again, He focused his mind and tried to enter the space once more, but as he reached out, he felt a strange sensation. It was as if the space was pushing him back, refusing to let him enter.
