What was wrong with him? Why was he looking at her like that?

And then, without warning, Nathan’s expression changed. His eyes flashed with anger, his face twisting into a snarl. “You’re really going through with this, aren’t you?” he spat, his voice low and menacing. “You’re really going to marry him.”

Elena’s heart raced as Nathan’s anger seemed to escalate, his words dripping with venom. “Nathan, what’s wrong?” she asked, trying to calm him down.

But he just laughed, a cold, mirthless sound.

“You have no idea, do you?” he sneered. “You have no idea what’s really going on.” And with that, Nathan’s face contorted in rage, his eyes blazing with a fierce, uncontrolled fury. “You’re making a huge mistake, Elena,” he growled. “A huge mistake.”

Elena’s parents exchanged a worried glance, sensing the tension in the room. “Nathan, calm down,” Elena’s father said, trying to intervene.

But Nathan was beyond reason. He was consumed by his anger, his eyes fixed on Elena with a fierce intensity.
