Chapter thirty Nine

After the banquet, Rhys officially returned to the main house, he and Atlas smiles at each other on the surface but each held grudge against the other. Johnathan chose to tag along which no one had anything against.

“What happened between the both of you?” Johnathan followed Rhys into his room with a confused expression.

Rhys ignored him, as soon as his parents had gone, he had pulled Rio by the ear into the room and shut the door. “Ouch, ouch, let go. It hurts.” Rio cried out in pain, tears flowing freely from his face.

“Hey Rhys, stop that, you are hurting him.” Jonathan didn’t make a move to stop him, seeing the enraged expression on the other’s face. “What did he did to get you upset?”

“What have I told you about avoiding strangers?” Rhys inquired with a frown, he still doesn’t let go of Rio’s ear but doesn’t tug at it.

“They came to talk to me, I’m sure they were after my chicken.” Rio cried out. “They said they wanted to get me ice cream?”
