Chapter thirty seven

Rhys stood before Elema and her grandfather like some sort of god, the crisp white shirt he wore contrasted with the all-black perfectly, his black hair was styled with utmost care as a compliment to his eyes, and his eyes fascinated her because it was cold on the outside but full of warmth. He towered over her five foot six height.

‘So tall’ She openly gaped at him. His piercing eyes looked sweetly down at her, and with a smile, he revealed dimples that almost made her swoon. “Hello, I’m Rhys.” He introduced himself, the previous fervent look in his eyes was gone in a flash.

Elena felt as if she was drenched in the rain, she noticed how he was able to quickly change his mood. “I know, I’m glad you don’t look like that brat.” The old man continued as if he had not noticed the moment that Rhys and Elena had shared.
