Chapter 10- Pure Dark Affinity Revealed

His words shocked me but it was not surprising since my father wanted to hide my identity while the other 2 girls were nobles by the aura they emitted. While I was contemplating this sudden idea, our teacher Kakashi Thor entered the classroom and broke my thought process by saying “Good morning students, I am Kakashi the teacher in charge of this class and section. I will be teaching the art of stealth and ninjas since I am a spy that brings classified information from potential enemies without being noticed.”

I was surprised to hear that and started paying more attention to our class teacher and the most surprising thing was I could not see his presence till I put all my effort in. He was wearing a typical ninja dress with weapons in something that looked like a belt. He had tied his hair with a band and there was a band on the front of his hair with an emblem on it. He seemed to have a pirate patch on his right eye, it seemed to give a threatening presence.

Jack asked, “Should not you be hiding this confidential information from us since it could be dangerous for you.”Kakashi smiled and said, “if you tried to communicate any information for anybody out of this school you will be…” He pointed to his neck and drew a line across it neck symbolizing death. Jack gulped and seemed to be horrified and scared imagining him died, it could be clearly visible by his face

The 2 nobles also had ugly faces when one of them asked “The school would not possibly hurt any noble right.” Kakashi smiled and said “Nobles and commoners are both equal here and all the nobles have signed an agreement that they would not harm or threaten us while you students are in school and outside the school if you students were going to leak any information regarding secrets of the school. This also applies to the royals that might enter our academy.” He said this last line while looking at me. This made me think that he might know my real identity but I did not act weird. The 2 nobles looked surprised and angry at this information and I was surprised to know that they had the power to even harm royalty if any information was leaked or was going to be leaked.

After a brief moment of contemplation, Kakashi sensei said “First of all those that are and will be talented in stealth and the art of ninjas are those that have an affinity with Darkness which has a rarity of 1 in 10,000 people. “Kakashi sensei brought out a dark black stone from his pocket and said “This here is a Dark affinity stone, It glows when a person with dark affinity touches it. I would show an example.” Kakashi sensei touched the stone and it glowed with a sinister dark appearance. He then informed, “Each of you will touch this stone and check whether you have a dark affinity.”This same scene was happening in all the classes except that the stone did not react when the teachers touched it.

Gerald/Richard’s Pov

All 3 students had already failed the test and it was finally my turn. After my name was called, I went near the stone and touched it and the stone glowed with an even more sinister and darker fire than when sensei touched it. Sensei looked surprised and indicated I should go outside the room with him. I nodded and walked out of the room and sensei followed me out

After sensei observed that nobody was watching he said “Richard, you are extremely lucky you have pure Dark affinity. Make sure nobody finds this out or it would be dangerous for you.” I looked surprised since if he knew that I was royalty he would not say this to me Kakashi sensei further explained “Pure Darkness means it is omnipotent among all dark spells and techniques and it would cause interference to anybody using dark magic. If anybody found you have Pure Dark affinity they would try their best to kidnap you and conduct various experiments on you, so it’s in your best interest to not reveal this to anybody.”

I nodded and was surprised to find that my magic affinities would be a huge burden to me since all my magic affinities were Pure, so I would not be able to use them.

[Do not worry host, with the power of my ability “Transformation and Decomposition” you can convert your Pure Magic ability to normal Magic with a single thought of yours. Just think that you want to use normal Dark magic and I will do the rest. ]

I followed Kakashi Sensei inside the classroom where the other students gave me an interesting look while Kakashi Sensei continued speaking about Dark magic and things that could still be done without Dark Magic affinity probably to encourage the students to learn the art of ninjas.

 Then I heard the sound of the bell ringing and Kakashi sensei bid farewell and left the class, after which the 3 other students immediately came near me and asked what Kakashi sensei said to me. I remembered Kakashi sensei’s advice and just said that Kakashi sensei just wanted me to follow the path of ninjas. They nodded and got ready for the next class without showing any doubt.

Kakashi’s Pov

He looks very similar to Augustus and he will have a bright future leading our continent to higher heights as the king of our country with the pure Darkness Ability. I almost showed him that I knew he was royalty. How wonderful it is to see somebody that looks so much like him after so many eons. I wonder what would have happened to Augustus if he could have completed that technique of his.
