The day after the improvised meeting, as it has been discussed, Jamal woke up earlier than usual and went to prepare himself for the patrol. Lina went to Natasha's house to call Matteo. It was early in the morning but she knew that his boyfriend and Natasha were at that time watching the barrier, so there was no danger. She didn't need to knock at the door since she already had the double key to the house, she unlocked the door, opened it, and entered in.[I should just call him out] she thought, however, a funnier idea popped up in her mind, she smiled naughtily and went ahead to initiate her joke.It was one of Lina's codes to never waste any occasion to have fun. Lina and Matteo prepared to leave the office. After he revealed to her the supposed date when the army of undead would come to attack the city.Her reaction was surprising, or rather Matteo didn't expect such a reaction from her. She began by trying to scout Matteo and bring him to her office so he could lend her a hand with the administrative matters as, according to her observation of him, she estimated that he was fully capable to take the job. Early in the morning, when Natasha woke up, she first thought about going to say goodbye to Jamal, but after meditating on it she concluded that it would be better if she didn't go as she knew that seeing him leaving would make her emotional side taking over, she would beg him to let her accompany him or she would just decide to sneak and follow him in secret in case of rejection.Instead, she just shook her head, made up her mind, jumped out of her bed and she started her morning practice; some push-ups and other supplement room workouts. After she finished warming up, confident that her body was now fully awakened, she went straight to the bathroom.
