The next day, Alfred decided to go and meet Jade after coming back from school so he could ask him about his mother and the real cause of her death.

Since his father is a normal human being, that means the so-called pixon gene has to come from his mother, And her death might not be as natural as he thinks.

He then remembered about Kelvin as he saw him transform yesterday.

"Fuck what do I tell kelvin now? He saw me transforming the last time and I'm sure he's really going to have a lot of questions" he said to himself.

'You could just kill him or rather intimidate him with a lot of fear so he won't tell anyone about it' , he heard a stupid idea from a stupid annoying voice in his head once again.

"No, I'm definitely not going to do that. He's my best friend and I'm sure he'll understand.", he said to Alex or rather said in a bid to convince himself as he was worried that kelvin would start seeing him as a monster.

'I was just trying to help and besides, it's a very good idea',Alex said nonchalantly and kept on rambling about a lot of things but he ignored him. He also got dressed for school planning to find a way to explain everything to him later.

When he met kelvin at the front of his house, there was an awkward silence between them for some minutes before Alfred decided to break the silence.

"Cough* so kelvin about yesterday I unmmm…uhnn I think we should talk about it", he said nervously.

"Wait, I know what you're", Kelvin suddenly said. "Really??", Alfred asked surprised. "That day when we talked about the rumour of tigers with glowing eyes you were in shock a little bit so I guess that rumour was true right?"

Alfred was surprised by how kelvin was able to quickly sum it all up together but he was inwardly rejoicing because he didn't want to go through a round of weird explanation.

So he just said the only thing he could come up with which is”, yeah that rumour is true and they are called Pixons and am actu….ally one…of them".

Alfred was expecting a terrified expression because of what he just said but all he heard was "YES!, I knew it. When you went to that forest something happened for you to run back here suddenly and you were shocked about the rumour of tigers with glowing eyes, it all fits now"., Kelvin said excitedly as if he had just solved the world's toughest case as a detective.

"Are you not worried about the killing part in the rumors, and yester….", he was about to say but Kelvin interrupted him saying "I know you aren't the one responsible for the killings and also you could have killed me yesterday but you didn't and told me to run. You could have chased me but you didn't want to hurt anybody, I saw that in your eyes yesterday, so don't bother explaining, you're my best friend Alfred I'll always stand by you, always".

Alfred was actually happy about what he heard from Kelvin and he realized that his friend didn't see him as a monster even though he sees himself as one. He felt a warm feeling rising up in his heart when he heard kelvin's reply.

Then they continued the journey to school while talking about the Pixons superpower like super speed and everything that he actually knew about being a Pixon while being happy that he had such a good friend.

When Alfred got to school, after the end of the first class. He was called into the principal's office about his little scuffle with Shane.

"I'm actually expecting it so I'm not surprised", He said to himself as he makes his way to the principal's office.

*In the Principal's office*

"So you and Shane still haven't solved your little scuffle even after eight years, I expected more from you Alfred. You shouldn't injure people like that. It's not a good behaviour".

The principal kept on telling him About morals and good behaviours and other things about being a good kid but Alfred wasn't even listening. As he heard that same story eight years ago and it's all the same to him.

He was thinking about himself and how he was feeling about what happened with Shane and he saw that he didn't feel any remorse for what he did at all.

He even loved it and wanted to feel that same fear from them again. "I'm I really losing myself? the normal me would have been sorry about that. I would have even gone to visit Shane to apologize since he got a broken wrist. But that fear coming from him felt so amazing. I want to feel it one more time", he kept thinking to himself before he heard the same annoying voice snapping him out of his thoughts.

'Yes, we all enjoy the fear but stop drooling about it. Don't lose yourself to that feeling as it could be very dangerous if you get addicted to the taste and feeling of fear', Alex said with a warning tone.

'So we could sense fear coming from people and we enjoy it. I keep on feeling more like a monster every passing day', he thought to himself as he realized once more that he's not normal anymore.

'You're not a monster Alfred. You can decide not to be as long as you let yourself be in control. I lost control too then and it doesn't feel good, trust me' Alex told him. '

'When we lose control we cause mass murder. Destroy cities, kill innocent people and do a lot of things that I won't call good so don't think about looking for a way to feel that fear again' Alex continued in his advice.

"…..so the school has decided to suspend you for two weeks one more time as you've been a good student all these years. But If anything like this happens again, you'll be expelled from this school, is that understood?", The principal finally laid out his punishment.

'Yeah, now I'm suspended. Just the Right thing I needed to hear', the thought to himself sarcastically.

After school was over, Alfred planned to

go to meet Jade today immediately he got home. He then saw kelvin running to meet him as he had actually forgotten but kelvin while trying to be fast with everything.

'Come to think of it your suspension could be a blessing in disguise to you for your Pixon training' Alex said and he couldn't help but agree with him.

"Alfred, why the hell are you rushing?…wait are you going somewhere?", Kelvin asked.

Alfred wanted to say no but he felt he should tell him since he already knew his secret and he actually kept it for him.

"Yes, I'm going to meet Jade to know more about you know what", he replied. "Ohhh, can I c…", Kelvin wanted to ask them Alfred suddenly interrupted him as he still considers Jade as a dangerous person.

"You can't come with me, it's too dangerous", Alfred said.

"No I'm coming with you, I want to come with you".Kelvin tried to convince Alfred.

"Kelvin, this is not camping okay? It is a dangerous place filled with dangerous people who I don't even know so you're not coming". Alfred said as he doesn't want to risk anything.

WHOOSH!!!

Alfred left kelvin as he doesn't want him to argue any further.

"Even though he told me about it. It still seems so cool to me", Kelvin muttered to himself with sparkling eyes when he saw Alfred's speed.
