As they ate, Eleanor suddenly froze, her fork hovering halfway to her mouth. She was staring at Jerome's face, her gaze intense and unblinking. He felt a sudden flush of heat rise to his cheeks, tempted to tell her to eat her dinner, but something stopped him. As he lifted his eyes to meet hers, he felt a strange sensation, as if the rest of the room had faded away, leaving only the two of them.

Eleanor broke the silence, her voice barely above a whisper. "I've never seen anyone as handsome as you."

'Ahem, ahem,' Jerome was speechless. His ears turned red as he faced the opposite direction to hide his blushed face.

Eleanor couldn't help but notice the way Jerome's face had turned crimson at her compliment. She felt a wave of affection for him and was suddenly overcome with the urge to tease him. "What's the matter, Jerome?" she asked, her voice gentle but playful. "Never been called handsome before?" She watched as his ears turned red, and he shifted in his chair, clearly flustered. B
