Mr. Miles was sitting in his big living room on vacation. The room was quiet except for the ticking clock on the wall. Papers were on his desk, but he wasn’t looking at them. He was thinking about the company he lost to Bill Ford when his phone started buzzing. He picked it up and saw it was Conor calling.

“Hello?” Mr. Miles said in his deep, sharp voice.

“Sir, it’s me, Conor,” Conor said. He sounded worried, and Mr. Miles noticed right away. “I wanted to tell you something about Franklin.”

Mr. Miles frowned and leaned back in his chair. “What about him? Is he in trouble again?”

Conor took a deep breath. “Not exactly, sir, but I’m concerned. He’s not eating, he’s not sleeping. He looks so tired, and he’s acting strange. I think something’s wrong with him.”

Mr. Miles’ face tightened. His hand gripped the phone harder. “Why isn’t he eating? What’s wrong with him?”

“I don’t know, sir,” Conor said. “He’s been quiet, staring at papers, but he doesn’t seem focused. It’s like he’s… slipping

I hope you like it.”“Thank you,” Ashley said, sitting down. “I could use it. It’s been a busy week.”A waiter brought two cups of coffee. Ashley wrapped her hands around her cup. “So, let’s talk about the case,” she said.Vera nodded. “Yes, we should. The Empire State Hotel is such a mess. Franklin’s been through a lot, hasn’t he?”Ashley nodded. “He’s trying his best, but the papers are everywhere. I’m helping him sort them out. I think we’re

Today, they were going to make an important plan to take over Miles's Empire completely. The door opened, and Professor Arjun walked in, holding a folder. Ivan followed almost simultaneously.“Good, you’re both here,” Bill said, standing up. “We have much to discuss. Sit down.”They both sat. Ivan crossed his arms, while Arjun opened the folder.“So, what’s the plan, sir?” Ivan asked, looking at Bill.Bill leaned forward. His eyes were sharp. “The next step is simple. We take Miles Empire for ourselves. Completely.”Arjun nodded. “And how do we do that?”Bill smirked. “First, we use our insider. He’s done a great job so far. Sending fake emails, forging documents, pretending to be anyone. The board doesn’t know who to trust anymore.”Ivan chuckled. “That insider of yours is clever. He can mimic anyone.”Bill nodded proudly. “He’

Everyone needs help sometimes. Let me give you a hand. You’ll feel better once you’re cleaned up.”Franklin looked away, feeling embarrassed. “Thanks, Conor. I… I hate feeling like this.”“It’s okay,” Conor said calmly, setting up everything. He tilted Franklin’s head slightly. “Just stay still, or I might accidentally give you a funny-looking beard!”Franklin chuckled weakly. “

She was too busy stealing glances at Oliver.“What are you thinking of ordering?” Oliver asked, looking up from his menu.“Um… maybe pasta,” Daisy said, shrugging. “What about you?”“I’m thinking steak,” Oliver replied. “I need something str

She had texted Richmond the day before, asking to meet. To her surprise, he had agreed, though she wasn’t sure if it was out of guilt or curiosity. When Richmond walked in, Daisy spotted him immediately. He was wearing a leather jacket over a plain t-shirt, his usual smirk absent from his face. His steps were slow as he approached her table.“You wanted to talk?” Richmond said, his voice calm but distant as he pulled out a chair and sat down.Daisy nodded, her throat itching. She had rehearsed what she wanted to say a hundred times, but now that he was here, the words felt jumbled. “Yes. She… she’s the one who planned everything. She told Daisy to trap you, to use the baby as a way to control you.”For a moment, Franklin didn’t move.
