"We need to know what Bill Ford is planning to do next," Mr. Miles said.

Franklin thought for a moment. "I have an idea, dad. I can sneak into their company tonight. See what they do," he suggested.

Mr. Miles looked surprised. "That’s dangerous, son. You can’t go there," he warned.

"I know. I’ll take Conor with me. He’ll protect me," Franklin said.

His dad thought for a moment longer. "Okay. But be careful. We don’t want to lose you, son. You are the CEO now!" he said.

"I will be back. I promise," Franklin said firmly, turning to leave his dad's office. He felt determined as he walked down the hallway.

He found Conor in the bar. "Conor, we need to go to Bill Ford's company. See what they’re planning to do," Franklin said.

Conor looked serious, setting down his wine. "Okay, sir. I’ll go with you. But we must be careful, they have top security," he replied, standing up.

Franklin nodded his head. "I know, but we will be discreet. Let's go," he said, leading the way out.
