CHAPTER SEVENTY-TWO

The whole students watched as Casey Ford was being escorted out of the auditorium by her bodyguard. The place gradually fell into an uneasy silence.

Mr. Gerald was left standing alone at the front, looking visibly shaken. His face had lost its color, and beads of sweat formed on his forehead. He glanced nervously at the administrators, who were now looking at him with stern expressions.

Dr. Robertson cleared his throat, breaking the silence. "Mr. Gerald, the evidence provided by Franklin, along with your own unsubstantiated claims, leaves us with no choice but to address your misconduct. This institution upholds integrity and honesty above all else, and it seems you have violated these principles."

Mr. Gerald tried to defend himself. "Dr. Robertson, please, there must be some misunderstanding. I... I was only trying to protect the integrity of our examination process. I never intended for things to escalate like this."
