CHAPTER TWENTY
The sun was shining, and the water was warm. Daisy and Richmond were having a nice time in the pool, talking and drinking expensive wine. They laughed and enjoyed each other's company.

"I don't understand why the board directors would want to sell the hotel," Daisy said, straightening her hair.

"Yes, it is strange to me too," Richmond agreed. "The hotel is making a lot of money. Why would they want to sell? There must be a misunderstanding somewhere."

"Maybe they needed the money for something else," Daisy suggested.

"But the hotel is our biggest asset," Richmond said. "I don't think they would sell it without my permission."

Richmond took out his phone and called the chairman of the board, Mr. Ross.. He waited for Mr. Ross to answer the phone.

"Hello?" Mr. Ross said in a calm and gentle tone.

"Mr. Ross, it's Richmond. What did you do? Sell out the hotel?" Richmond shouted, his voice loud and angry.

"Yes, Mr. Richmond we sold the hotel. We had no choice. They offered too much money. We
