"Okay, what have you done wrong?" Judas asked, his tone gentle, inviting confession.

Judas watched Matthew intently, noticing the struggle to find the words. Matthew's eyes darted around, as if searching for an escape route.

Finally, Matthew's gaze met Judas', filled with a mix of guilt and determination. "I know I was wrong, but I was afraid of what Smith would do to me if I opted out," Matthew began.
