Chapter 51

Ruby paced around her room, her anxiety growing with each passing minute. She knew that soon, she would be able to leave the house for a few months, but she couldn't help feeling restless and anxious. She looked out the window, and saw that the sun was shining brightly.

It was a beautiful day, and she longed to be outside. But she knew that she had to wait, and the waiting was killing her. She sat down on the bed and tried to calm herself, but it was no use. She felt trapped and alone, and she didn't know how much longer she could take it.
