Melody returns to her hotel room with exhaustion weighing her like a bag of cement that was dipped into water. She falls on the bed with a long sigh and kicks off her shoes. Melody can't believe what she has heard just now. Her jaw is hanging in the air and she feels a kind of heat engulf her. Maybe she didn't hear him right, maybe it was all in her head.
