Evelyn Castiel was a mad woman.

Yes, even she knew that much. Or would you say, 'selfish'?

Her marriage with her husband had failed long before they'd even become husband and wife, yet, she was still with him. And that was only due to one reason. The man was rich.

Sure now their business was going down the path of failure, but she wouldn't have been the woman she was if it wasn't for her husband.

And the other day she had dared to accuse her daughter of falling in love. Oh what she would have given if she'd been born into a perfectly well raised woman like her daughter. Never would she have married the man she called her husband now.

She had never loved any man to heart before, but dear Lord, had she met many men with quite good intentions. If only she hadn't been interested in marriage just for the sake of riches and respect, she would have been with one of those good men out there.
