"Grandma?" Owen poked his head in through the slightly open door. "May I come in?"

She looked up from her book and stared at her grandson who had let himself in without an invitation. "Come in." She said, even though it seemed rather feckless now.

"Thank you. Are you busy?" He asked as he moved further into the poorly lit room.

Granny Castiel hardly ever allowed anyone into her room– that is, except for Doris and her husband– but anytime she did, her room was always partly dark. The window binds were always down, and when they weren't, you could hardly see outside through her tinted windows.

"Is something the matter?" She questioned with less attention.

"Not really, it's just that I would like to call your attention to something that I think is kind of important." Normally, he would be upset by her careless demeanor but remembering the motive behind his visit, he went on any way. He ignored her I- don't- care attitude and continued. "I think it would benefit you if you heard it."
