Helen's disdainful reaction to Alexander's request reflected her frustration, as she sarcastically remarked, "Can't you, at the very least, show some respect towards me as the daughter of a prominent family?"

In response, Alexander remained silent, his gaze fixed upon her. Irritated by his lack of words, Helen expressed her displeasure by stomping her foot and reluctantly complying, reaching over to open the car door.

As Alexander stepped out of the vehicle, he glanced back at Isabel, who remained seated inside. Offering her a reassuring smile, he instructed, "Wait here, Isabel. I'll be back shortly."

Observing Isabel's downcast expression, he paused and reconsidered, saying, "Alright, come with me, as I promised."

Isabel nodded, and the three of them proceeded to enter the fast-food establishment, where they were greeted by two imposing men dressed in dark suits. These individuals, recognizing Helen, bowed in deference as they passed by.

Inside, the atmosphere buzzed with liveliness.
