It didn't take time for people to know that the famous philanthropist was broke. Edgar couldn't show his face to the outside world for days.

It wasn't the fact that he was broke that made him cower in shame. It was the realization that the person who cleared his debts and bought his companies and properties was none other than the man he termed useless.

Edgar couldn't stand the side talks. No one knew the truth about how he lost everything but they made up stories to suit themselves.

His employees were now doing better than he was. He had no place to stay nor food to eat. He went to the Larrys for help but they were just as miserable as he was.

The only difference was that they had some savings and a roof over their head. Larry was willing to take him in but his wife was adamant.

According to her, he was to blame for everything that fell apart in their life. First off, making their daughter hate them and secondly, refusing to help with the hospital.
