CHAPTER EIGHTY-TWO
At Raine’s mansion, all of Adam’s family were gathered in the living room area of the house, and Adam couldn't help but be thankful, looking at each of them, only one person was missing in the mix and she would complete them soon.

Over the last few months, his adopted family had grown close to his grandfather and Raul, and Adam was grateful to Marcus for embracing them and leaving his doors open to them.

Hector, his father, was seated beside his grandfather deeply engrossed in a conversation, the glass of whiskey they held in their hands hadn't been downed for a while.

He couldn't help the smile that escaped his lips as he watched Hector, he had sure come a long way from the badly beaten up and head-wrapped man he had come back home to meet. Seated in front of him was a robust man who was full of life, and now had a twinkle in his eyes, Hector’s worries had greatly reduced, the load off his shoulders, therefore he had begun to look way younger than his years.
