CHAPTER FORTY-ONE

He heard Louisa’s sharp intake of breath, alongside some of the ladies present and smirked once more, crossing his feet as he stood.

“He's even arrogant and not remorseful” one lady yelled in the crowd, as she narrowed her eyes at him. Adam just quirked his eyebrow at her and smiled smugly

“Very unrepentant. He deserves to go back to jail, it's obvious he hasn't learnt any lesson there at all”

Williams drew his head back quickly in shock at Adam’s response and indifferent stance, glared intensely at Adam, not blinking in his stare, he exhaled deeply and held his breath before he huffed,

"How dare you talk to me like that you fool! I could have you destroyed, I did it once, and I will do it again"

Adam who was frustrated with Williams' ominous threats, and the accusations thrown at him by those present, rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, glaring at Williams.

“There's nothing you can do Williams, you have done your worse”
