Curtis' face and neck flushed all over and he took in a deep breath, as he heard Adam's statement. He couldn't believe that his actions would come back and bite him in the butt, and he internally berated himself for uttering those words to Adam, he had arrogantly thought he was right and had spoken so carelessly. Now those very words were back to haunt and hunt him down,
