Cecil let out a shrill shriek, her grip on Louisa tightening, as she shivered to her toes,

"Please, have mercy! We have nothing of value to you," she pleaded, her voice quivering with terror, while her knees quavered,

The men's amusement only grew, their eyes gleaming with sadistic pleasure, one of them moved forward and seized Louisa's arm, his grip like a vice that she couldn't break free from. She struggled fiercely, squeezing her eyes shut, she was almost hyperventilating as panic and desperation enveloped her,

Despite her nerves, she willed herself to be brave as she spoke up in a stoic and loud voice,

"Release us immediately, or you'll face the full wrath of the law! Do you know who my husband is?! He’ll make you all regret this that you have done today" Louisa shouted, her voice a mixture of defiance and desperation.
