CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Williams in turn, turned to her and glared at her.

"NO!! Did you think I'd stand there and watch your wretched and impoverished ex-husband of a man get the upper hand!? I've never been this humiliated in my entire life! NEVER!!" fist clenched, he silently shouted the last bit to herself.

Louisa found herself flinching at the tone of his voice, and the hatred that laced his eyes.

"I do not know how that bastard managed to escape from the prison, in such a short time. He was supposed to rot in there all his life, and not see the sun ever again!" without awaiting any

response, Williams began talking to himself. "I need to find out how he possibly escaped, something doesn't add up" he kept on mumbling to himself.

Louisa gathered courage and touched his arms, his body shivered at her touch and she smiled to herself

"We will find out, but for now we have to leave here. We do not know if they'll be back anytime" She rubbed the spot where her hand was, passing across her message. Willi
