CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR

Raul silently stood by the entrance of the room, as he surveyed and observed the assembled staff, most of them sat fidgety in their seats, with their confused looks on their faces. He could hear their silent murmurings, wondering what the impromptu meeting was all about

Clearing his throat to announce his presence as he walked in, he proceeded into the room, feeling everyone’s eyes on him. He made his way to the front of the room, making sure to look at them all, and maintained facial contact, as he did, some of them quickly lowered their gazes causing Raul to smirk.

With no iota of remorse in him, he apologised to them all,

“Sorry to keep you all waiting. I apologise for my tardiness, it's not in my character.”

He watched as they reacted to his apology, some nodded their heads, while the others had themselves on the edge, anticipating to know what the gathering was for.

Well, he wasn't going to keep them waiting any longer, it was his utmost pleasure to inform them of the reason f
