Once again Madam Ruth burst into a loud laughter, clutching her stomach as she did. Every other person watched as she laughed, Mira on the other hand gaped at Adam, unable to string any words together,

A part of her was certain the reveal was true as there was something about Adam that was quite different and he didn't seem like a pauper the way her mother had made him out to be.

Leila's eyes darted at Adam, and she tried holding their gaze to confirm it, but Adam wasn't looking at her; his face was almost blank, sans the little smirk she caught on his face. She found herself wondering if whatever he had to reveal was in line with what had just been revealed.
