Leila hesitated before she responded shyly,

“No..not at all.”

Sighing she went on,

“I would like to say goodbye to Ariel before I take my leave.”

Leila responded, staring at Adam through lowered eyelids, she knew how to weld the weapon that was her eyes on people, especially her father.

“Yeah, that’s right,” Adam said swiftly, immediately realising that he had also forgotten to say goodbye to his daughter before leaving the house,

He headed back up the stairs in a jiffy.

“This way,” Adam said to Leila pointing towards the direction of Ariel’s room,

He dashed into the room without knocking and headed towards her bed, hoping to see her there but to his utmost surprise, she was not on her bed.

“Where is she?” He muttered to himself and looked around the room wondering where his daughter could be as she was always in her room.

“Princess.” He called out for her but did not get a response and the look on his face became worrisome.

“Remember you asked Evelyn to take her down for a walk,” L
