CHAPTER THREE HUNDRED

As Cecil walked away, Louisa mindlessly flipped back into her seat and stared at her mother with mouth agape. Her mother's words had left her speechless, with her body trembling. She wrapped her arms around herself as she was numb and didn't know what to say or how to react.

She knew for certain that Cecil meant every word, and she wasn't ready for her mother's wrath. One thing was clear, she was caught in between the devil, and the deep blue sea; on one hand, she couldn't face her mother's wrath or sinister plans, on the other hand, she wanted the bitch that was Leila out of the way.

Louisa had to pick a side and her battle and stick with it. Her thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the banging of the door as Logan barged in calling for their mother,

“Mother?!” He called out, seeing Cecil, he went on with what he had to say,

“The vehicles are ready.”
