The crowd began to settle back into their seats, still casting a weary glance at Adam who wasn't fazed by their mutterings or mumblings. Though the crowd were seemingly settled, Mr Fannik who still felt unjustified wasn't, and so he stomped his foot and raised his voice,

“So just because he claims he's an associate of General Olson, we're to believe his cock and bull story?!" He demanded, his face going entirely red,

His questions caused the people to look at themselves as they also wondered and found truth in what he had spoken,

“That's true! What proof does he have that he's associated with the General?! We all know he's a busy man and doesn't frolic with the commoner!"

Adam turned to look at the woman who had spoken and shook his head mildly at her words, the woman in turn scowled at him and hissed, eyeing him in disdain,

"Someone should call General Olson and confirm the truth!”
