“Catherine!” Diane shouted at her sister from the jeep.

“What the hell are you doing? Get away from that cheater! I’m going to call the police and get him arrested!”

“Cheater?”

Catherine was startled. “What are you talking about?”

“He cheated on me, which is why I canceled the wedding and picked this great man Stephen,”

Diane blurted angrily, lying very easily as if it was a natural thing for her.

“So, get away from that ungrateful bastard! Even after our father saved his life, he doesn’t have any gratitude toward us.

"This is why you should never raise snakes, as they come and bite us in the back eventually!”

Catherine was stunned to hear her sister’s words.

She looked at Denver. “Is what she’s saying true?”

Denver’s face had a hardened look.

“Why aren’t you saying anything?” Catherine asked again.

“That’s because he doesn’t have anything to say!” Diane growled.

“That cheater must be kicked out of our lives. No, he must be put in jail, or he won’t let us live peacefully!”

You shouldn’t have offended someone who’s out of your league. "Now, there’s nothing I can do for you.
