“Why are you here?” Novick frowned after seeing Philip and stood on guard.

“Relax, Sir Novick. We’re not going to sandwich you here,” Philip smiled.

Novick, however, didn’t lower his guard. “I can’t take your words for granted.” He moved back and made some room so that he wasn’t stuck between those two.

“I think twice before shedding my enemies’ blood, so why would I attack a royal knight without good reason?” Philip said. “But if you are anxious, you can leave. I would like to talk privately with my brother here.”

His words changed the expressions on the faces of Denver and Catherine.

“I have already finished my mission,” Novick walked back without showing his back to them. “So, I’ll take my leave.” His voice faded away.

Catherine was surprised that Novick was able to leave without many sounds with his footsteps, almost in the same way Philip arrived here.

“This guy’s a monster, too…” she muttered under her breath and stood on alert.

Denver was staring at Philip with a mixed emotion.

Or…”“Or? Is there another way?”“If your aura is better than Philip, then you can remove that scar,” Sheryl stated.“Then, Denver can remove it, can’t he?” Catherine quickly said.“Denver might find it difficult to remove that scar,” Sheryl opined.“Huh, you don’t believe in him?”“I do, but he’s not perfect,” Sheryl said. “He mastered only six of the eight Hawker Arts, whereas Philip mastered all eight. Everybody has their flaws. Nobody should even think they’re perfect and capable of doing everything.”“But my sister thinks she’s perfect,” Catherine replied.“Your sister?” Sheryl wasn’t too surprised. “The woman who took the hous

Denver had no idea who Novick was. There was a chance that he was his sibling, or an underling of his sibling. He didn’t think Novick was part of Penal Hall as their uniform was different.Either way, it didn’t matter to him who Novick was. After nearly losing Catherine due to someone who’s supposed to be Denver’s elder sister, Denver had completely lost faith in the Hawkers. And he realized that everything Sheryl said was true.He shouldn’t trust anybody, even if they shared his blood.Naturally, Denver did not feel like respecting Novick even though Novick had come all this way to talk to him.Novick controlled his anger, despite Catherine and Denver provoking him. “What are you planning, Denver Nighthawk? Why did you build a wall around the Nameless Zone?”“Why should I answer you when you are not answering our question?” Denver asked back.“I’m Novick Norman,” he replied. “The fourth royal knight under His Majesty Casil.”Denver was surprised to hear that.“Royal knight?” Catherin
