Denver came to Cat Pools.

The Clarke company members were already clearing out all the broken rubble. The new manager was showing different plans to Denver. “Pick whichever one fits you for this place, sir.”

Denver didn’t even sign the contract, so he was surprised to see how the Clarke company was rushing things. On one hand, he was happy for the work happening rapidly, but on the other hand, he was also a bit nervous that Sage Clarke might be expecting something from him in return.

“I need some time to pick one design,” Denver told the manager.

“Sure, sir. I’ll ask you again after we prepare this plot for the construction,” the manager told him.

Denver then sent the design pictures to Catherine.

She was sitting outside the interview room and was surprised to see the pictures. She called Denver quickly. “Why did you send me those dreamy pool pictures?”

“Which one do you like the most out of all those?” Denver asked her.

“Why are you asking?”

“Can’t I casually ask you such a question?”

It was evident from the shock on her face that she was not at all planning on getting pregnant. Who would even plan for such a thing before marriage unless they were utterly foolish or had some bad intentions?Subrina looked even more upset and horrified right now. If others were to learn that Diane was pregnant, what would happen to her family image?“Mom, do you really think I’m pregnant?” Diane’s forehead was growing in stress marks. Her voice contained nervousness.Subrina just kept staring at her daughter in shock.“Why aren’t you saying anything? You’re making me nervous,” Diane said. She had a relatively decent image in society, so the fact that she got pregnant before marriage will ruin her life. “What should I do now? Should

Denver quickly took the child to the hospital, and the doctors told Denver that the kid was poisoned with a powerful toxin, for which they weren’t confident in treating the kid.Denver was sure that he breathed the toxins, but he was fine.So he told the doctor, “My blood is AB negative. Transfer my platelets and plasma to him. That should help him.”“How will that help him?” The doctor refused him without hesitation. “It won’t.”“Just do it,” Denver glared at the doctor. “If the child dies because you were late, I don’t know what I’ll do to you!”The doctor nearly shit in his pants. “I-I’ll do it!”He speedily arranged the process and transferred Denver’s plasma and platelets to the kid, and then to the doctor’s astonishment, the kid’s condition was improving fast. He opened his eyes within a few minutes.Denver told everyone to go outside and then asked the kid, “Who gave you the soft drink bottle?”“One uncle gave it to me,” the kid replied in a weak voice. “I couldn’t open it. “That fucker acted like a sheep, but he’s a fucking wolf,” Subrina growled as she got up to her feet. “As soon as your dad died, he started his plan. He made your sister pregnant, and now, he’s after you.” She poked her finger into her daughter’s chest. “Don’t fall for his tricks!”“M-Mom, what the hell are you saying?” Catherine raised her voice. She was loud, so she controlled herself and opened the door. Both the mother and the daughter entered the flat. Catherine shut the door and tossed her bag aside.“Let’s assume that Diane is pregnant,” Catherine said, putting her hands on her waist. “She’s fucking Stephen, and who knows how many other men? So how the hell did you come to the conclusion that Denver is the dad?”“Because Denver is also among those men, and she gave me his name,” Subrina said calmly but firmly as if she didn’t doubt it at all. “You should know how much Diane looks down on Denver. There’s no strong reason for her to say that Denver is the dad.”“Maybe she wants t

The sun was just beginning to dip below the horizon as Denver was driving the old Volkswagen down the bustling city street. He had taken the injured kid to his home. The parents blamed Denver after he explained the incident. Denver asked for an apology and then left some money at their door without them knowing. Now, he called Sheryl’s mobile. This time, it rang, but she didn’t pick it up.Moments later, he received a text message: My mission got extended. I’ll be there soon, so please wait patiently. Love you, Boss.“What mission is it?” Denver sent a text message back.“Can’t tell you. Sorry,” she replied.“Huh, am I not your boss?”“Haha. Good try. But please don’t disturb me. I’m on a jet that’s on a ship right now. That’s all I can tell you. Bye.”“A plane on a ship?” Denver was confused. “Is she on some kind of a war ship or something? Many guests who were arriving there couldn’t help but notice this tall woman dressed in red clothing. She looked like an angel. The women had to remind their men to not look at her. She was such a stunning beauty with her golden brown hair and a polished white look of someone who doesn’t spend much time under the sun.“He’s late,” Bianca looked at her platinum watch worth 150 grand. “He better not make a fool out of me by skipping this party. After what I’ve done for him… Mm?” Just then, she noticed an old red car in

“A cheap man will only know how to give cheap gifts,” Diane snorted, flaunting her dazzling yellow dress that caught people’s attention. “Let me show you what a real gift looks like.”She handed a gift box which was bigger than Denver’s.Terry didn’t care about Diane’s insults toward Denver. He only cared about the gift box, so he hurriedly opened it.However, he found a small box inside. He opened the small box, and there was a key inside.“What’s this key for?” Terry asked her.Diane looked at Stephen who snapped his fingers. Two workers brought a mini car into the hall.“It can go up to 25 kilometers per hour, and it runs on battery, so you can just recharge it,” Diane said. “It cost just 20,000 dollars.”Sage was clearly impressed by the gift. He looked at Stephen. “Did your dad send this?”Stephen glanced at Diane. “She picked this gift.”“Oh…” Sage’s gaze shifted to Diane. “May I know your name, Miss?”“Diane Palmer,” she replied and shook Sage’s hand. “My father used to work in

Diane didn’t give any extra details or explanation about what exactly led to Richard’s death, and she walked away with Stephen.Sage couldn’t help but wonder, “Is he not a trustworthy person then?” he was beginning to wonder if he shouldn’t have actively started working on Denver’s project. “Moving forward, I should be more careful with him.”“What did he do to your father?” Stephen asked Diane.“I’d rather not talk about it right now,” Diane replied.Stephen could see anger in her face. (There’s something that happened between them which I didn’t know of. No wonder she cheated on him, huh. I guess she’s not like the other bitches I hang around with. She’s smart and worth hanging around.)Diane, on the other hand, took her mobile out. She started sending text messages to her sister.“What are you doing, Catty?” Diane asked, but there was no reply. “Do you want to know what your man is doing right now? He came to a party. A rich man’s party, so why didn’t he bring you along?”Catherine

Denver came to the side to talk with Catherine privately. “What do you mean she’s pregnant?”“It means what I said,” Catherine replied fast. “And she’s claiming that you’re the dad.”Denver felt a chill crawling throughout his body. “Whoa, whoa, that’s crazy. Did she really say that?”“My mom even came to my flat, and she fumed over the issue,” Catherine said. “If you were here at that time, she would have hit you.”Denver’s heart started racing. “C-Catherine, you don’t believe Diane’s words, do you?”“I didn’t believe her, but after seeing these pictures, I’m feeling doubtful!” Catherine didn’t hesitate to speak these words. “Instead of taking me to the party, why did you go with some other lady? And you’re even holding hands. That makes no sense to me.”“I will explain everything to you once I get home,” Denver said.“Are you the father or not?” Catherine asked bluntly.“Of course, I’m not the father,” Denver quickly responded. “I didn’t even kiss her once, so how can I be the father

He must be a rich guy.”“No shit. He wouldn’t have outbid that amount if he wasn’t stinking rich.”As people kept talking, Ilene glanced over her shoulder and looked at Denver. “That build…” a corner of her lips slightly curled down, “is it him? But that voice just now didn’t feel familiar.”The fact that this man with

We might even have enough time to change into better clothes.”“I didn’t want to lose my hair, or my wife would divorce me, so I tried my best, and the winds also helped us,” the pilot replied.“Would your wife really divorce you if you lose your hair?” Denver asked him rather innocently.“I don

Just how low is Diane going to stoop?Catherine couldn’t get the card in time, so she appeared annoyed. “I know you better than anyone else, so I’m not just lucky.”“Is that so?” Diane picked up the card. “This card is useless now, isn’t it? You came all the way here because you want to take this card from Denver, right? In the end, you’re also after his money, but he can’t see through your facade because Denver is innocent.”Catherine frowned in anger and disgust. “You’re right about one thing. Denver is innocent. He picked her upper body up. She didn’t suffer any physical injuries, but she wasn’t conscious, either. He tapped her cheeks. “Catherine, hey, wake up.”Diane didn’t like what she was seeing. “You are such a scum, Denver.
