Chapter 31 "In the Party"

“You will accompany me tomorrow in the Solice mansion. I was invited to the party.”

Jurgen’s mouth hung open.

Just a moment ago, Victoria told him to attend the party and take his revenge on Gaston. Now, John said that he will attend the party.

‘What to do? Mister should not meet Gaston. He might recognize him!’

“You look pale. Why? You can’t come with me?” John asked when he noticed Jurgen’s pale complexion.

“N-No, Sir. It's just that, that place does not hold good memories to me,” Jurgen said as he lowered his head and gulped.

“Was it because of your friend? That Gaston Harrison who kicked you out?”

Jurgen’s eyes widened. John has no idea that the son he’s been looking for years is no other than Gaston!

“I think you don’t need to worry. That friend of yours cannot harm you as long as you’re with me.”

Speechless, Jurgen looked back at John. He didn’t mean to talk bad about Gaston. Actually, when Jurgen told his story, he did not know at that time that Gaston is John’s son.
