Chapter 6

When the party was over, Alexa wanted to go home to her house, accompanied by Sean. She entered a dark alley in the courtyard of Sean's mansion. As she walked through it, a drop fell on her forehead. "What is that?" Alexa rubbed it gently, noticing and smelling its fishy odor. "Isn't that blood?" She muttered, as if she couldn't believe what she was seeing.

Alexa was curious and looked up to convince herself of the source of the red droplets. When Alexa looked up, she was shocked and screamed hysterically, "Sean, is that a body?" Screaming in terror, Alexa ran over to Sean and hid behind him.

She tried to calm herself, though she couldn't say anything at the moment.

Seeing Alexa's fear, Sean made sure to approach her slowly, afraid that something would go wrong. "Dead body, you say?" Her voice was full of curiosity. Though surprised, Sean confirmed it by looking up.

Although it was faint, Sean clearly saw the body hanging from the wood on the upper balcony. "Yes! It's a corpse!" He said firmly after confirming the truth.

Sean looked strangely silent, he couldn't hide his fear. He had suspected that Jason had killed him, although Sean didn't know for sure, but he had heard that Alexa was planning something with Jason and his father while he was out of the room at the family reunion.

And now that he'd seen everything, Sean was sure that Jason had done it. But how could he kill several thugs with his own hands and get out of the kidnapping scene? Did someone help him? Sean had no idea that Jason was involved in a kidnapping.

After finding out, Sean reported the incident to his father, Mr. Donal. A couple of people came in to slowly lower the body to the ground.

Mr. Donal came over with his curious face. He approached the corpse, stood up and observed it slowly for a moment. He saw that the dead thug was holding a paper in his hand, deliberately rounded so that it could be squeezed.

Mr. Donal took it and slowly opened it. "Mr. D, you will die by my hand!" A stern warning to the Clooney family and their perpetrators.

Just then there was a faint scream from the direction of Mr. Donal's house, it was the maid who always cleaned Mr. Donal's house. She ran over screaming in terror. With her breath still ragged, she said. "Mr. Donal, there is a corpse in an upstairs room with a body full of wounds, I'm so scared!" She stammered.

She was almost struggling to breathe, running full of fear tonight.

Mr. Donal raised an eyebrow, he had just taken care of a dead thug found in a dark alley and now he had news of another dead body.

Mr. Donal ordered the new guard to take care of the other body.

The man then sniffed coldly, remembering the warning Jason had given him - that he would send him a gift. "Could this be the gift Jason was referring to?"

Mr. Donal was infuriated by Jason's threat, he clenched his fists tightly, his face filled with stored anger.

Inside the room during the abduction. (Flashback)

The thugs left, leaving Jason's body lying weak and motionless. They thought Jason was gone. However, an unexpected event came from a necklace he was wearing. It emitted light and surrounded Jason's body.

By itself, all the wounds and bruises instantly healed. Jason felt alive again with healthy limbs.

At that moment, three thugs with big and muscular bodies were leaving to report to their boss, but something happened...

"Where are you going? Face me!" Jason said in a loud voice, they looked back at the source of the sound.

Before they could fight back, Jason pulled two thugs with his strong strength, he made the two thugs fight each other, hit them with elbows and then threw them lightly until they were injured.

The one thug who saw this was speechless at the sight of Jason's rage. He seemed to lose control.

The thug in front managed to run out of reach of Jason and his two friends as Jason gave them a reckoning. He laughed slightly as he stopped somewhere he thought was safe.

But when she started walking in the direction she was going, Jason was already in front of her, making it impossible for her to escape.

Jason pulled hard on his hand, the thug struggling to free himself. "Please let me go! I only have orders to do this." He said in his defense.

Jason shook his head in disgust, "If that's the case, who ordered you? Tell me!" Jason starts to bully him, the thug is scared and wants to let go. He begs for mercy. "Please forgive me!"

He prostrates himself before Jason and asks for forgiveness by rubbing his hands together. But Jason doesn't care, he continues to push the other thug because it makes him even more angry: "Tell me who ordered you!" Jason snapped loudly.

Jason's face started to turn red and his anger almost exploded. Even though the thug begged for mercy at that moment, it didn't melt his heart.

The thug stuttered as he answered him, "He's Mr. D!" He replied softly and hesitantly. He felt like he would be on the edge if he didn't say it.

"I've already said it, so let me go!" She whimpered and begged for Jason's mercy.

But in Jason's eyes, the more she begged for mercy, the more disgusted he felt. It reminded him of how she had been beaten senseless and nearly died despite her pleas for release.

And the thing that angered Jason the most was when he heard the news that his family had an accident because of their slaughter. Jason felt his heart was cut and he could not bear it anymore. Moreover, at this time he does not know the condition of his family. Are they dead or alive?

Jason growled when the thug asked for his release, "Didn't I also cry for release but you just beat me even more wildly, what did I do wrong? I didn't even kill anyone, you heard me!" She shouted.

Without hesitation, Jason hit her hard and threw her towards the other thugs. After that, he let out a long sigh and narrowed his eyes. "I see you, Alexa!" He said confidently, "And I'll give you a present!"
