Chapter hundred twenty

Josiah hissed at him, his eyes flashing with anger. "I'm not hiding anything, Bryan. You're the one who's hiding your own life. You got married without telling anyone, and now you're accusing me of secrets?"

Bryan raised an eyebrow, his expression calm. "I didn't hide my marriage, Josiah. I just didn't feel the need to announce it to the world. And as for secrets, I think you're the one who's hiding something."

Josiah snarled, his face reddening. "You're the one with loads of secrets, how about you confess! You've been following my business deals, trying to sabotage me. And now you're tricking me into returning to the city, how much more selfish could you be?” He snarled.

Bryan sighed, his eyes rolling. "Josiah, you're just trying to grasp at straws. Maybe you would have known I was married if you cared to look for me, rather than trying to bask in my glory. Trying to find your way into the army too, and being better than me."

The room fell silent, the only sound the heavy breathing
