Chapter 59

“Can you hear me, Nadia?" He asked once more, but still there wasn't a response from her.

He turned off the shower and quickly tied his towel, using his phone as a torchlight to look at the stairs as he walked downstairs.

“Nadia, where are you? Now is not the time to play your hide-and-seek games. This is becoming scary, and I can't afford to lose you this time around." He spoke up with his torchlight, trying to search for the current box.

Suddenly, he heard the sound of a cup falling down from the kitchen and the suffocating sound of a voice. He hurried straight up to the kitchen, and as he got there, he was grabbed by someone from the back, strangling his neck.

“Help! Help!" Ethan screamed out for help but couldn't get a response from anyone, as everywhere was so calm that only his voice echoed through the kitchen.
