Chapter 37: Two Choices

"Not me, sir!" Glenn said quickly.

The young man tried to stand up but immediately two police officers held his hands firmly. Glenn was forced to sit with his knees touching the floor. He couldn't move his hand.

Glenn who was confused suddenly saw Narendra appear there and was grinning broadly at him. He rolled his eyes as if mocking Glenn. It was at that moment that Glenn realized that he started to rebel and at the same time shouted loudly, "He must be the culprit, Mr. Narendra. Not me, Sir."

"What do you say? Mr. Narendra was the one who reported this case, Mr. Glenn."

Glenn was surprised but when he saw Narendra's face that looked so satisfied, he certainly knew that his bastard cousin was indeed the perpetrator of the murder. Glenn couldn't have guessed wrong.

He said again, "I didn't kill him. I didn't even know that he was killed, Sir. I was framed. Of course he reported it. He wanted to frame me."

"You can say it at the police station," said the policeman.

"But sir. I-"
