Chapter 6: Who Are You

"I can help you reclaim all your rights," the man said.

Hearing the words of the man who was looking at him with a calm look, Glenn suddenly laughed loudly. He almost fell off the bench while laughing.

"What are you laughing at?" the young man asked in astonishment.

Glenn got up from his seat and gave the man a scrutinizing look, he then answered casually, "Of course you are."

"Why? What's wrong with me?"

Glenn shook his head and walked past without another word.

The man gasped.

"Glenn!"

Glenn didn't stop and kept walking without the slightest intention of answering.

"Glenn!" He called again. He caught up with Glenn and walked beside Glenn.

"At least listen to me first," the man said.

Glenn ignored him and kept walking, thinking of the person as a passing wind.

"GLENN BRAWIJAYA!" the man shouted.

Exasperated, Glenn let out a long breath. "Go!"

"No. You have to listen to me first," he said, still trying hard to convince Glenn.

Glenn turned his head, "What do I need to listen to? Your hallucinations?"

The man looked confused, "My hallucinations?"

"Yes. You said you were going to help me get mine. Have you been hallucinating? It's obvious that my parents did give all their possessions to my uncle's family. What should I take?" Glenn said with no emotion.

He had tried to forget his disappointment at his parents over his being crossed out of the inheritance list. But, the man whose identity he didn't know had made him remember that annoying thing. He got incredibly annoyed.

"No. You are wrong. Uncle Andi and Aunt Amelia are not like that," the man said seriously.

Glenn sneered, "Our extended family's lawyer read out their will a few hours after they were buried. Just so you know, I don't care about that will anymore."

"But that's not true," the man argued.

"What do you mean?" Glenn asked whose patience was running thin.

The man sighed before answering, "Uncle Andi and Aunt Amelia left their wealth for you, not for the rest of your family."

Glenn was initially a little stunned when he heard it but again he laughed at the man's words.

"Stop-"

"No. I'm not hallucinating. I can prove what I'm saying."

Glenn paused, as if he was at war with himself. A part of him wanted to believe what the stranger said. However, the other part refused to believe it. He also asked, trying to be sure, "How can you prove it?"

The man was slightly pleased because it seemed like Glenn's stubbornness had softened a bit, “There's a tape.”

“Recording?” Glenn asked, frowning slightly confused.

“Yes. There's a recording of the writing of the will."

"How did you know that?" Glenn asked, looking suspicious.

The man replied, "Because I was there. I witnessed the process of writing the will."

Glenn widened in shock. "You ... you ...."

"Yes. I'm one of the witnesses the only surviving witness. Only I know that the will read out by your family's attorney is fake," the man explained.

The man said it so seriously and carefully. But Glenn wasn't completely sure yet.

"You said you were the only living witness? Did that lawyer-"

"It's been murdered, Glenn," the man interrupted quickly, not wanting to waste any more time. Glenn was in deep shock.

Never expected. He thought for a moment, unable to immediately believe the man in front of him easily. with a probing look, "Who are you? How did you know all that?"
