Chapter 12.

Daniel stepped into the party hall with a smile on his face. He was specially being invited by the CEO of the company.

Today is the day Eva plans to announce him as the new manager of the Diamond Group. He was so happy.

Before he finally takes over the Larsson corporation as promised by his father, because of Isabelle, for the meantime he decided to manage the Diamond Group as he plans to have his revenge on her and her family.

In the hall, before he could take another step suddenly a beautiful lady on a tight blue gown abruptly stopped him.

Surprisingly it is his ex-wife.

"What are you doing here, Daniel? " Folding her arms, Isabelle asked. Beside her is her fiance, Andre, her mother, and an unknown young man who seemed irritated to see him.

Arrogantly, after Isabelle asked, her mother snorted at him, "What's a scum like you doing here, Daniel?

The people invited to this party are top elites, CEOs and Managers. You are no longer the manager of Costa Group, so what is a nobody like you doing in this place!! "

Although Daniel hate to see their faces after what they did to him, placing his hands on his pocket, he however replied, " Well, I was actually invited to this party. "

"Invited, by who? " Andre laughed with disbelief as he walked up to him. "You are now nothing without Isabelle, so who the hell would invite a nobody like you to this grand ceremony? "

With a smirk, Daniel responded, "Well, that's actually non of your business, Mr. Andre."

Isabelle then lit a sly smile on her face, "I'm sure you snuck yourself in here to beg me? I'm sure you have missed me and the company. "

Trying to make Daniel feel jealous, she grabs Andre's hand and leered at him. "Well sorry Daniel, my mind is made up already."

Both her mother and Andre let out a smirk.

However surprisingly Daniel chuckles, "Sorry Isabelle, begging you is the last thing I would ever do. You betrayed me, I can never have something to do with you anymore. "

When he said that, strangely Isabelle felt deeply hurt.

It was not long since they divorced, she expected him to still be aggrieved concerning their marriage and the company, but surprisingly looking at his eyes, she felt he didn't care anymore, and suddenly she became bothered.

Daniel continues, "I did not come here for you, like I said, I was invited. "

Then Andre asked, "Well, if you were actually invited, Daniel, where is your invite? This is a special hall, everyone here has it, show me yours? "

"And why should I show you my invite? "

Lorna scoffed, "If you're not lying, why is it a problem to show us the invite, or are you scared. " She said.

Andre felt so insulted.

Watching what was happening, suddenly two men wearing black suit walked to meet them. One of them happens to be the head of the hotel security.

"Excuse me ladies and gentlemen. Please may I know what's happening here? "

"Good you are here gentlemen. "We were wondering how this loser gets entrance into this party. " Andre reported with a face of despair.

Hearing that, the security officers turns to Daniel, "Who are you Mister? " The head security officer asked.

"I'm Daniel Hunt. I was being invited to the Diamond Group anniversary, that's why I'm here. "

"Ok sir, may we see your invite. " The officer suddenly demanded.

"He was adamant to show us. I'm sure he does not have any invite. " Lorna sneered as Isabelle folds her arms, watching.

Seeing that Daniel had delayed to bring out the invite, everyone smiled.

As the guards were preparing to drag him out of the hall after feeling that he was not invited, surprisingly Daniel pulled out a piece of paper from his brown suit and handed it to the head security.

"This is the invitation card. " He said with a smirk.

The card was like every other invite. Everyone were astounded, especially Isabelle.

However Lorna objected strongly, "I'm sure that card is fake. There's no possible way this nobody is invited to a exquisite party like this. I don't believe it. "

Andre and Michael nodded in agreement as Isabelle remained silent.

However when the head security checked the card, surprisingly he nodded in acknowledgement.

"Wow, this is not just an ordinary invite. This is a platinum-diamond card, the most special card in the party.

"What!! " Hearing that, everyone's lips parted with shock. It's the most expensive card in the party. Only Lord Larsson and a few elites were being honored with a platinum-diamond card.

The officer continued, "Mr. Daniel's full name is written on the card, which means he was being specially invited to the Diamond Group's anniversary. "

Isabelle, her mother and Andre glanced at eachother as they could not believe their ears.

With disbelief, Isabelle grabbed the card from the officer. However when she saw that it was true, she was shocked to her bone.

"But how? You are just an ordinary person. How did you get a platinum-diamond card. " She mumbled disturbingly.

Nevertheless, after checking the card, the head security officer lowered his head to Daniel as he beckons on two female ushers to come.

After the ladies came, " I'm sorry for the inconveniences Mr. Hunt.

You're one of the most important guests in this party, please kindly follow these ladies to your specially reserved table. " The officer said as he handed the invite to the female ushers who bowed to Daniel before they began to lead the way.

Watching Daniel leave, everyone were still in shock.

Returning to her seat, Isabelle felt she was going crazy. Watching Daniel take a seat on one of the remarkable tables in the party she could not help but wallow in amazement.

As the party progresses and everyone having great fun, thence came the moment everyone had been waiting for.

When the crowd heard that the Diamond Group's CEO is currently present in the hotel, including the president, everyone became anxious as they could not wait to finally meet with her.

The city's media were present and active around the hotel. They set their cameras perfectly as they could not wait to capture the beautiful moment.

With an atom of pride, the host of the party who is one of the executives of the company walked to the stage.

"Once again, I want to thank everyone for honoring this special day. " He said, smiling.

" Finally the moment we all have been waiting for. " At this moment, the entire hall was dead silent.

He continues, "To the stage, with due honor, let's all stand to our feet as we welcome the CEO of Diamond Group, in the person of, the most beautiful, Ms. Eva Roosevelt. "

Inside one of the rooms in the hotel, Eva had been smiling, waiting for this moment.

Immediately the host said, as everyone stood to their feet clapping, an extremely stunning lady on a tight blue dress suddenly stepped into the hall.

Her graceful elegance and beauty marvels the entire crowd causing both men and women gawking at her.

When Andre saw her, he was stunned beyond measures. "Wow, what a beauty. " He exclaimed quietly as he stares at the extremely beautiful lady.

Even Isabelle was stunned by the ladies beauty.

"Wow, is she the CEO of the Diamond Group? " There was great murmuring in the hall. Everyone wondered as they watch the lady walked to the stage.

Standing on the stage, Eva smiled. When she saw Daniel, her face brightens more.

However facing the crowd, when she finally introduced herself as the CEO of Diamond Group, with great joy everyone began celebrating.

They were all bewildered, all these whiles they could not believe the CEO of the Diamond Group is a beauty goddess.
