Martha smiled dryly, feeling the little bun her hair was styled in.

"Umm..." She giggled in a dry tone. "I just wanted to make sure the door was locked." She held her hands together, feeling nervous for some reason. Liam walked to her, a stern look on his face.

"There is no need for that here. As you can see, there are more than enough guards outside to keep this place safe." He paused and looked at her suspiciously, getting even closer to her. He bent a bit so she could hear him well enough. "Look Martha, I recommended you for this job because I trust you. Don't do anything to make me lose that trust... Because it won't be a pretty sight." His tone was very low, but he was sure she heard him because the fear in her eyes didn't try to hide in anyway.

"Oh! Don't worry, sir. I will never do anything to lose your trust. I promise to do my job very well." She managed to say, still unable to hide the fear in her. Liam could still see it.

"Now, that's better." He smiled suddenly, taking fe
