Chapter 40: Work and People

Raymond, Robert and his grandfather, Jude left the hospital later that day. The doctor had discharged Raymond since he suffered no major injuries. He had sustained only a few scratches and cuts which had been duly tended. And he was significantly better than the day before, almost fine. They were in the car, on their way home. It was getting late, at that point. The sky was transitioning from the dim orange colour that it was, to a light neon colour. Yet, again another beautiful scenery. Robert was very much appreciative of nature and it's aesthetic existence. It made him think of the aesthetics of his being.

"Once again Raymond, thank you. You don't know how grateful I am to you for what you did for my grandfather. Do well to give me your details when we arrive at the mansion so I can fulfil my promise." Robert said once more, in the car. All the gratitude Raymond was receiving made him feel jumpy because he didn't know how exactly to react to it.
