Chapter 68: Reminiscing

His eyes lit up with an interesting spark, a galvanic one that she seemed to like. Apart from the fact that he was extremely nice to her on their first meeting, she found him to be a very interesting person. One that she thought could become a very good friend.

"Ahhhh!" He exclaimed with a glad smile. His heart literally leaping with joy as she took the umbrella from his hand. "I'll see you tomorrow then. Take care of yourself, umm... You didn't tell me your name, ma'am."

"Ma'am? Not ma'am, please. My name is Juliet." She smiled, stretching out her hand casually for a parting handshake."

"Have a great night, Juliet." He smiled as he shook her hand for the last time.

Erick waited, watching her leave as she walked away. She turned, surprised that he was still there but waved at him. He waved back with a smile, before flagging down a cab.
