Chapter 70: Turmoils

Miranda paced around gently, completely disappointed in her son once again. He had proven to her once more that he was no better than a child who didn't understand responsibility. She sighed as thought of her late husband came mind. She could see the spark in his eyes when he first set his eyes on his son, Erick when he had just been born. Somehow, she blamed herself for everything. If only she could conceive for a second time, she wouldn't be forcing her unbelievably stubborn son to do anything.
