Chapter 95: Worked Up

Robert sank in to the comfort of his bed, the cold morning breeze danced through the slightest open window and blew over him. He sighed calmly, this voice infused with frustration and tiredness. He closed his eyes, his hands and legs spread over the bed in an X-like manner.

"What is all this?" He asked himself in a sober voice. He wiped his hands over his face and sighed again. "I'll just have to let them in when they come back later. I need to get all this over with."

"Just then, a familiar sound drew his attention. He opened his eyes abruptly and looked in the direction of the sound. His phone sat on the cabinet just by the bed, ringing loudly. He pushed himself sluggishly to where the phone lay and picked it up. It was an unknown number. He sighed and concluded in his heart that he would end the call if it was another nosey reporter. "Hello." He said lifelessly, his brows lowered with no anticipation.
