“We do not negotiate with criminals, whatever your name is. Let the reporter go immediately, this instant!” the commissioner of police said. However, if Eraser obeyed this, it was a lie.

“No! I have no part in this. I simply obeyed the orders he gave me. F**king, let me go or I’ll kill this reporter!” Eraser yelled back.

“You are all surrounded. We have our chopper at every escape route in these waters. We have our men at every escape route on this bridge. Another group of our men has entered the woods and is stationed there. You have nowhere to run. Obey now, and we won’t use force.”

Hearing what the commissioner said, Eraser obviously expressed his frustration. He tightened his teeth, and the veins on his head stood out like a map. He forced words out of his tight lips and, with one finger on the same hand holding the gun, removed the safety.
