Chapter Seven: Sudden Rich Part One
As they walked through the streets, they saw a sign for a bus station. They knew that this was their best chance to get out of town and start over. They pooled their money together and bought two bus tickets to a city far away. They had no idea what they would do when they got there, but they knew they had to take the chance. When they arrived at the bus station, they got on the bus and settled in for the long journey. As the bus pulled away from the station, they felt a mixture of fear and excitement. The bus was only a few miles out of town when it suddenly stopped. The lights went out and the bus was surrounded by several black SUVs with tinted windows. Before anyone could react, the SUVs opened their doors and men in black suits and sunglasses got out. They quickly boarded the bus and ordered everyone to stay calm and remain in their seats. The atmosphere on the bus was tense and fearful. Everyone was wondering what was happening and why the men in black had taken over the bus. Some of the passengers were shaking with fear, while others were trying to remain calm. No one knew what was going to happen next. Nicolas and his friend Marvin were the only ones who seemed to know what was happening. They recognized the men in black as agents from the shadowy organization that had framed them for murder. The agents were likely there to make sure they didn't escape, and to silence them before they could tell anyone what had really happened. The agents ordered everyone to stay calm and to not move from their seats. But Nicolas and his friend knew they had to do something. If they stayed on the bus, they would be taken back to the organization's headquarters and locked up for good. They had to find a way to escape. As the agents herded the passengers to the back of the bus, Nicolas and his friend saw their chance to escape. They slipped out the emergency exit at the front of the bus, and ran for their lives. They could hear the agents shouting behind them, but they didn't stop. They knew they had to get as far away as possible. They ran for what felt like hours, weaving through the streets and alleys of the city. Finally, they came to a large, busy intersection. They were about to cross the street when a black SUV screeched to a stop in front of them. The driver of the SUV looked at Nicolas through the window. "We know who you are, Nicolas . We're here to help you."Nicolas was confused and scared. "What are you talking about? You just tried to run me over!" Marvin was as puzzled as Nicolas is . They both don’t have a clue on what is going on.The driver shook his head."Your grandfather sent us to bring you home. He's been worried sick about you. He wants to make sure you're safe."Nicolas was still skeptical. "Why would he send people to chase me through the city? Why not just call me?"The driver explained, "Your grandfather was worried that you wouldn't be able to escape . He was the one who instructed the warden assigned the job to you . He thought you might be in trouble and need help. He thought this would be the best way to find you."Suddenly, it all made sense. Nicolas' grandfather had been trying to help him all along. But he still had questions.Nicolas was a lonely child. His mother had left when he was just five , and he was raised by his father . His father was a cold and distant man , who has been brutal towards him .As a teenager, he started to question his family history. He wondered why his father had never told him anything about his background or any other relatives. He tried to ask him about it, but he always changed the subject or refused to answer his questions."Who is this grandfather of yours?" asked the driver ."I have no idea," said Nicolas . "You're the first person who's ever mentioned him to me. I don't even know his name."The driver was silent for a moment. Then, he said, "Would you like me to tell you what I know?"Nicolas nodded. He was desperate for any information about his family, even if it came from a stranger."What do you want to know first?" asked the driver."You can't stay here," said the driver. "The police will be here any minute. You need to get out of here, and I can help you. Please, just get in the car."Nicolas hesitated. He didn't know if he could trust this man, but he knew he couldn't stay where he was. The police would be here soon, and he would be taken back to his cell , where he would be locked up again. And Marvin what about him ? He has been such a good friend what about his pregnant wife who needs him that . He didn’t want them to be lock back up He didn't want that. He wanted to find out who his family was, and why his so called father had kept it all a secret. As the car pulled away from the curb, the driver turned to look at Nicolas . "You're safe now, Young Master," he said.Nicolas was startled. "What did you call me?" he asked. "How do you know that name?"The driver smiled. "It's your true name, Young Master. It's what your family has always called you.""But how do you know that?" asked Marcus. "Who are you?""My name is not important, but your safety is. I’m you have been found, young master ," said the driver."You are the rightful heir to the Lim family fortune," the driver said. "Your family is one of the richest and most powerful families in the world. Their wealth cannot be measured in mere billions of dollars. It is beyond measure."Nicolas was stunned. He had never heard of the Lim family, and he certainly didn't think he was their heir. "I don't believe you," he said. "You must be mistaken. My father never told me anything about this.""Your father was never supposed to tell you," said the driver.Chapter Eight : Sudden Rich Part Two"Your father was the eldest and only son of the Lim family," said the driver. "He was supposed to take over the family business when he was older, but he fell in love with a woman who was not approved by the family. He married her anyway, and as a result, he was disowned and cut off from the family.Your father pleaded and begged your grandfather to give him a chance. He begged . But your grandfather is a man of his words . He remained unmoved at his sons pleads . The rule of the lim family was simple never fallIn love with a commoner ""But why didn't he tell me any of this?" asked Nicolas . "Why did he let me think I was just an ordinary kid?""Your father was ashamed of what he had done," said the driver."Your father knew that if he told you the truth, you might feel obligated to try to claim your birthright. He didn't want you to know your family . He wanted them to suffer from your absence. He wanted them to pay because he still blamed them

Chapter Eleven : A Walk Outside As he walked through the garden, he noticed the different colors and scents of the flowers. He stopped to smell the roses, and their sweet fragrance filled his nose. He felt a sense of peace and contentment as he continued on his way. He felt the sun on his face, and he could hear the birds chirping in the trees. It was like the world had slowed down, and he was taking it all in.As Nicolas walked further into the garden, he came upon a small pond. He could hear the sound of the water bubbling, and he saw a few fish swimming around. He sat down on a nearby bench, and he just stared at the pond, lost in thought. He wondered what it would be like to be a fish, swimming around in the cool water. He imagined himself gliding through the pond, free from the worries of the world.Nicolas was so immersed in his peaceful state that he didn't hear anyone approach him. So when he felt a tap on his shoulder, he was startled. He opened his eyes to see his friend, M
Chapter Twelve : Training At the crack of dawn, a servant came knocking on Nicolas' door. "Mr. Nicolas, Master has requested your presence in his study," the servant announced. "He said to come as soon as possible." Nicolas rubbed the sleep from his eyes and got out of bed. He quickly got dressed and headed to his grandfather's study, wondering what could be so important that it couldn't wait until a more reasonable hour.As Nicolas entered the study, he was met with the cold, hard gaze of his grandfather, who sat behind a massive desk. The room was dark and imposing, with bookshelves lining the walls and a fireplace crackling in the corner. "You wanted to see me, grandfather?" Nicolas asked, trying to keep his voice steady. "Yes, Nicolas," his grandfather replied, his voice as icy as his gaze. "I have some news to share with you."Nicolas' heart sank as he heard his grandfather's words. "Training?" he asked, his voice barely a whisper. "Yes, training," his grandfather said, his tone
Chapter Thirteen:Arrival of His Grandmother Nicholas was training in the estate's training grounds, swinging his sword in perfect form. He had been practicing for hours, honing his skills. Suddenly, he felt a presence behind him. Before he could turn around, a soft voice spoke."You're doing well, Nicholas."He froze, the sword slipping from his hand. He turned around to see a woman he had never seen before. She was older, but her eyes were kind and gentle. She was dressed in fine robes, and there was something regal about her."Who are you?" he asked, his heart racing. The woman smiled and "I am your grandmother," the woman said, her voice warm and reassuring. "I know this must come as a shock to you, but I've been searching for you for many years."Nicholas stood there, stunned. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He had been alone his entire life, and now he was being told he had family."How is this possible?" he asked, his voice shaking. "I've never heard of you before. How
Chapter Fourteen: A little Chit ChatNicolas looked at his grandmother with curiosity and concern. "You were alone for all these years?" he asked. "How did you spend your time?"His grandmother smiled, a faraway look in her eyes. "I kept myself busy," she said. "I took care of the estate, did the shopping and cooking, and kept the house clean. I read a lot, too. I also took long walks in the gardens and spent a lot of time thinking and reflecting. It was a simple life, but it was peaceful and quiet. I liked it that way."There was a pause, and then Nicolas spoke up again "But, didn't you ever feel lonely?" Nicolas asked. "I mean, you didn't have any family or friends. How did you deal with that?"His grandmother's expression softened. "Well, at first, it was difficult," she admitted. "I missed my family and friends terribly. But over time, I learned to enjoy my own company. I came to appreciate the silence and the stillness. It gave me a chance to reflect on my life and to be grateful
Chapter fifteen: The book As Nicolas continued to tell his story, his grandfather entered the room. "There's something I need to show you," he said. "It's urgent."Nicolas looked at his grandmother, who nodded. He stood up and followed his grandfather out of the room. They walked down the hall and into a room that Nicolas had never seen before. It was filled with bookshelves, and there was a large desk in the center. On the desk was a book, opened to a specific page."This is what I want to show you," his grandfather said, pointing to the book. "It's a book of "This book is called 'The Secrets of Succession'," his grandfather explained. "It has been handed down from generation to generation, and every potential heir must read it and understand its contents. You are the next in line, and it is your responsibility to learn from this book."Nicolas picked up the book and leafed through the pages. It was filled with dense text and diagrams. He felt overwhelmed, but he knew he had to read
