Chapter 63

In the lobby of the cheap hotel, they had breakfast together. Fortunately, the menu was not as disappointing as last night. Melvis, across the table, was already eating his breakfast without a word, even though Taylor had arrived.

In the dining room, they had a huge buffet. So Melvis took many menus that he liked.

When he sat back down at hia table, Taylor, with a sullen face, silenced Melvis. He saw that she had not taken anything.

"Hey, Taylor. Aren't you hungry? Are you still feeling the effects of the hangover?" asked Melvis casually.

He then sat down and started staring at her. "I'm sorry, I can only take you to a 200-dollar-a-night hotel. Out of necessity, too, it's better than us sleeping in the car, right. I also can't risk our lives driving drunk," Melvis explained between bites.

Taylor, who was frowning, instantly wrinkled her forehead, "That's not it! That's not why I'm frowning like this," she said to herself.
